Aurora Catholica is operated by PT Aurora Master Digital Kreatif ("we"). Contact: auroradreamer888@gmail.com. Aurora Catholica is an independent information and community app; it is not an official body of the Catholic Church.
Account data: full name, country, WhatsApp number, email address, your Aurora_ID and a hashed PIN (we never store your PIN in readable form).
Content you create: forum and chat messages, prayer requests, articles, role requests and review notes.
Technical data: activity logs (e.g. sign-in, translation and moderation events) and an anonymous random session ID used for the "On Live" counter, which only records whether a visitor is a member or a guest and when it was last active.
To create and secure your account, verify your phone number (one-time code by SMS), let you reset your PIN by email, show your content to other users, review articles, prevent abuse and keep the service running.
We do not sell your personal data and do not use it for advertising.
Your Aurora_ID is shared with the Aurora Database Master so the same account can be used across Aurora applications. Only the data needed for this (identity, contact and access status) is synced.
We rely on infrastructure and hosting (Lovable Cloud), SMS delivery (SMSGate), email delivery (Resend) and AI providers for translation.
When you press "Lang" to translate a post, the text of that post is sent to an AI provider to produce the translation. Do not put secrets in public posts.
Forum posts, chat messages and published articles are visible to other users according to their role. Your name and role may be shown beside your content.
We keep account data while your account is active and logs for a limited time for security. Presence records are deleted automatically after about an hour.
You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data by emailing auroradreamer888@gmail.com. Where Indonesian Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection (UU PDP) or other applicable law applies, we respect the rights it grants you.
PINs are hashed, sessions are signed, sign-in attempts are rate-limited and database access is restricted to our servers. No system is perfectly secure; please keep your PIN private.
Aurora Catholica is intended for users aged 17 and above, or younger users with consent of a parent or guardian.
We may update this policy. Material changes will be shown in the app and the date above will change.
